I don't know! Apparently these two women, Lady Sif and this other one, decided to post something about undergarments that have no function to them and the purpose of the undergarment is to seduce someone.
It just looks so foolish!

I suppose it's the same purpose as pretty but impractical clothing. To make yourself more attractive. It's like birds showing off their colorful feathers to snag a mate.

The regular underwear here is nice and I have to admit having loads of clean clothes is an indulgence I can get behind but fancy lingerie with lace and ribbons and all the other stuff seems pointless. Who am I going to seduce anyway?
Having more than two pairs of anything is an indulgence and not having sand everywhere is amazing. But why pay money for something when the sole purpose of it is to have someone take it off?
I'm not worried about it, I was confused to what Sif and this other woman posted about--lingerie and how it's used to seduction rather than practicality.
